We have thousands of acres of private land that has an abundance of turkey. We have Rio-Grande, Eastern and some Merriam turkeys. Our properties are located in Unit #2, and allow hunters to take 2 birds each. We offer a semi-guided 3 day / 4 night hunt, lodging included. The outfitters will assist hunters in all ways, they will show the hunter the land, provide maps of their properties and show them where the birds are roosting and eating. We will offer fully guided hunts for an extra fee and prior arrangements.
Our turkey season starts the first of April, with a 10 day Archery season. After those 10 days our season allows hunters to hunt with either shotgun or bow, with the season ending the last day of May.
All turkey permits are over-the-counter and can be purchased from the Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks website, or purchased upon your arrival from a local vendor.
Hunter education is required if you were born after July 1, 1957. You must carry your card with you. If hunting in Kansas, you must have a hunting license plus your permit. The hunting license is good for the calendar year, and entitles you to hunt small game and game birds also |
